Kaishore guggulu, also spelled as kishore guggul, is an Ayurvedic guggul formulation known for its efficacy in blood purification, managing raised uric acid, addressing mild to severe attacks of gout, and providing relief in inflammatory diseases, wounds, abdominal ailments, constipation, indigestion, carbuncles, etc.

Ingredients:

  • Giloy or Guduchi
  • Amla (Amalaki)
  • Bibhitaki
  • Haritaki
  • Shuddha Guggulu
  • Shunthi
  • Black pepper
  • Pipali (Long Pepper)
  • Vidanga
  • Nisoth
  • Danti Mool

Dietary Restrictions:

  • Avoid heavy and spicy foods
  • Refrain from fried foods and junk foods
  • Do not consume during indigestion
  • Avoid sour foods like curd and citrus fruits
  • Reduce salt intake
  • Avoid endurance physical exercise, love making, alcohol, and sun exposure

Precautions:

  • Generally safe, but may cause acidity in individuals with a history of gastritis, GERD, or ulcers (rare)
  • Infrequent urination may occur, especially when taken with punarnava for gout
  • Not recommended during pregnancy; lactating mothers should use it under the supervision of an Ayurvedic physician
  • Not suitable for children below the age of 5
